Apache like most web servers keeps a lot of files in different places. It is sometimes difficult to find in which folder you sites html files are stored, as this can be configured differently on different servers.
The folder is usually called "htdocs" or "html". On digital ocean's default LAMP install they can be found here:
cd /var/www/html/
